Software for Artists Book: Building Better Realities
To coincide with the sixth annual Software for Artists Day, I partnered with Pioneer Works Press to ideate, edit, and co-develop the first Software for Artists Book. Brought to life during the tumultuous and transformative spring of 2020, the publication features interviews and texts exploring the question, how can we co-opt digital tools in service of building a better future? It also contains submissions of "Digital Diary" entries from our community, documenting life in quarantine through the lens of our networked technologies.
This book was made collaboratively with Pioneer Works' Tommy Martinez and Daniel Kent, with help from Leo Shaw and Charles Broskoski of Are.na.
