triangle time machine

Triangle Time Machine consists of a welded fractal structure with inlaid triangular sheets of textured plexiglass. The sculpture is intended to refract and reflect an animated sequence of color waves. The distortion of light over the skewed surface of the floor and the shadows created by the form of the sculpture's frame against the wall contrast to produce an effect that is both liquid and solid. Gas, the third state of matter, is the ultimate component to the time machine. When contained in a small room, the sculpture will explode based on the laws of atmospheric pressure, gravity, and the space/time continuum.
