I’ve been having way too much fun (never too much fun, though, honestly) with CS5 content aware stuff… oh god, it’s so magical.
Just found out about www.creativeallies.com: a website hosting contests for designers to submit work for bands and other creative companies. I started out investigating it for my job, then realized JUST MAYBE I could win some money for making a little graphic for OK Go’s USB drive? Ha.

POWER / ILLEGITIMACY. The space outside of human-relatable objects is the biggest, most beautiful, most chaotic association of existence.
There is nothing I want to appropriate more than outer space. Just like God did. Am I right?
If we had the chance to rebuild on another planet, how would we structure our plans? How has new technology changed us? Are old ways of designing infrastructure even applicable anymore? How do we know what we haven’t yet experienced/how much of the past is absolutely necessary to remember? Can we build a city on forward thinking alone?
